What do we do when something is broken? In most cases we simply throw things away and buy new stuff. Sometimes it’s hard to get things repaired and often it’s expensive. It’s easier and cheaper to buy something new. But you can also transform (parts of) something that doesn’t function anymore into something new. Here’s what we did with our old and damaged kite that was already lying around for some time. We cut a pattern out of the kite, stitched the seams and filled it up with polystyrene beads (a funny messy task with the static pearls sticking to everything :-)). Now we have two giant ‘kite style’ lounge beanbags!
